Our visit to Winnipeg was short but enjoyable. The weather was cold (no snow though). Levi is walking & a real little go-getter. He is a very good little guy. We looked after him on the Monday & Tuesday while his mom & dad went to work. Our flight back was on the Tuesday (Nov 03) & because we weren't paying attention & I hadn't changed my watch to Manitoba time, we were nearly late for our flight. We had to pick Danielle up at her school so she could take us to the airport. We didn't leave the house until the time we were supposed to be picking her up. (Oh Grace!) But anyway, we made it in lots of time....... and alas........our flight was delayed because the plane we were supposed to take had been struck by lightning & needed to be checked out before it could fly again.........so we were in the airport FOUR hours before we flew out for Vancouver.......we could have been VERY late & still been on time for our flight!!

Tis the way of the big birds...to always be late. Levi is such a cutie! Wow! It seems like yesterday that my own were that size. How quickly they grow. PS: I'm glad I'm not the only one who pulls those crazy no-brainers on occasion. lol Bryan actually missed his flight to Manitoba this summer and had to wait 7 hours for the next one. Why? He just had to get a picture of he and his brother with all their luggage in the driveway. Sentimentality can really slow a person down. I knew that was bound to happen to him sooner or later.
